Just to let you know that in this seasons Official Programme it will include a two page article written by me in every issue. These 23 articles tell the story of Season 1931-32 in greater detail than I believe has been previously published. They include match reports, extracts and original cartoons from the Southend Standard, League tables and results and for those that have previously seen some of my ramblings it is in much the same style.

It starts with moaning about the lack of new signings (does nothing change) and then …….

I can’t give too much away you’ll have to read the programme to find out!

Seriously those that buy the programme I hope you enjoy the articles and any comments will be welcome.

Well done Pete, it's well deserved, having read the two seasons you let me have I think those that buy the programme are in for a treat. Congrats mate.

If i wanna know about 1931/32 i'll ask Cricko :cricko:and not buy a programme at £3 a shot!;)

Seriously though, i have read about 4 seasons of your ramblings as you call them and they are very interesting and well worth the read.

Will it include travel details of away matches played during 1931-3? £1.10.6d return to Carlisle with two overnight stops, marvellous times. If anybody should know the Shrimperzone train travel supermo should.
