What season is it from?

From your description It could be this one from the 1968/69 Season?

If it is this one they are available here in most sizes including XL. and you can even have it Personalised.

Similar but a t-shirt , white badge Southend running across one banner on the badge and Shrimpers lower down on the badge, on another white banner.

I've had it for a few years now....I saw it on being plugged on SZ, ebay purchase maybe

The shirt in the picture is from the 'Toffs' site, who do dozens of other clubs from the canyons of your mind.
As said, the shirt is a lighter blue than the real one.
Please retro shirt makers, issue the butcher stripe shirt of the early 60s.
