Suggest A New Manager

Decent posts and ideas around the DoF. Was this not a similar position that Brian Horton had with us? By all accounts he seemed to do quite a lot behind the scenes contrary to what people suggested. It's a route I'd personally like to see us go down anyway.

If all goes to **** and we do go down, Powell as DoF and a younger Head Coach next season anyone?

Horton's role was a bit cackhanded as he came with Brown - I'd like to see someone appoint the manager, not the other way round

Seems silly to me but i think Cox could not only play but also help in the training as well , also Turner could help in the defensive side of training ,therefore alleviating 2 coaches jobs and freeing up some money,To be honest i think Cox will go on to become a very good manager given the opportunity.

Harry Redknapp, just seen Harry's full English, there are a lot of similarities to our team !

Peter Butler, if not as manager but to replace the two assistants that CP has now. BUTTS would put some fire into the guys.

Not quite. If you remember he didn't arrive till some time after Dave Penny was sacked after our Wembley win, for redesigning the casino reception...….Without their permission of course.

Ronnie Moore.
A northerner so no chance really but
Saved Hartlepool from certain relegation.
Knows he's way to a Promotion also.
Seems a decent man manager.

So, CP has gone...

This thread just got serious!

How about another ex-LB? Justin Edinburgh?

(would he leave Orient for us? hmmmm...)

Neil Harris - if he gets sacked by MWall sometime soon?

Any other out of work manager....

My feeling is relegation is already accepted even if not actaully wanted or given up on....

If they’ve accepted a worse case scenario then offloading manager and staff I think you’ll see it closely followed by high earners....a move towards a 3 year plan to get out of league two with home grown players....a massively reduced wage bill and a new stadium in 2022??
