Not sure what a big arse has to do with being a target man, but it reminded me of that old Freddy Trueman story that when asked why he had a big arse he replied when you've got a big nail you need a big hammer.

from my many years of watching lower league football I'm convinced that just about the most important aspect of a team is a big lump who can hold the ball up front, back into people and get the team up the pitch. the bigger the arse, the further away the defender is from the ball
