Percy is a bit of a Col U legend a very good keeper in his time but given I was only 12 when he left us it is more a case of hearing about him than actually remembering seeing him play, although I know I must have done!

I may have seen him play for Romford.

Seeing as we’ve missed out on Bale I’m hoping the Blades farm out a couple of players, otherwise I can see as coming a cropper this year. Signings? We’ll be talking about them until the cows come home. Pigs might fly some would say. Don’t be a chicken some would say. I won’t be a sheep following the flock on here expecting signings. Make none again this week and a few truths may come home to roost. I guess one signing would be barley acceptable. Perhaps Lee Barnard might return?

Frankly I’ll be amaized but that’s enough corn for one post.

People seem very upset that we haven't "announced anyone" don't they. I'm old enough to remember when we never signed anyone before July. We already have two through the door, always remember the better players tend to take longer especially if they are out of contract as they play clubs against each other for the best deal.

I don't know how people have time to constantly refresh Twitter/Sz and get themselves so wound up.

I think because we signed 2 early, there was an expectation that others would follow shortly after - however, as most of us know, it doesn't always work like that!
