Echo News Super-computer backs Shrimpers to push for success next season

Well this won't be happening. Money bags York finished 28 points clear of us last season. Although they won't finish above us by that much this season, I think they will win the League with a few games to go. They will definitely finish higher than Forest Green.

More top quality journalism from the Echo. I’d been wondering how Fruity King rated our chances.

What a load of old nonsense!

Think the bookmakers odds are a bit of a better guide….Carlisle 10th says it all…..probably the worst article in the history of the Echo?

These things are ridiculous. Having us finish above York is madness. Then take Rochdale as an example, they finished ahead of us, scored more goals and had the third best defense in the league. They will feel they want to build on what they did last season. We saw how dangerous they are and they've already added Dieseruvwe to their ranks. If they keep hold of Rodney, that's some strike force! Their prediction doesn't make sense.

We can all sit here and hope and pray that our strikers can hit form, but if the computer is basing it's predications on stats, it wouldn't predict us scoring that amount of goals.

I know it's all a bit of fun and doesn't mean anything but when the press are publishing it, it doesn't help imo.

This is such a crap league to be in with the current two up only system. York proved last year that you can smash this league and fall at the first hurdle in the playoffs.

I can see a playoff finish again for us, I guess this will be how it is for the next however many years until we strike lucky in them and go up. If we could get one of our strikers next year to click and get 25 plus goals there is a chance of a title tilt.
