Tonight will see the 3rd match between me and BLUEBLOOD in our 12 month epic match series, the score in the series after 2 games are 1-1 with BLUEBLOOD taking the first spoils in January but then myself striking back after a 10 leg unbeaten run to win in Feb

January - BLUEBLOOD

February - TrueBlue

March - ?????

The question now is who will win tonight?

Here is the tale of the tape.......

Scott 'Steak Meal' Peters (TrueBlue)
vs
Lee 'Happy Hobbit' Venus (BlueBlood)
Tuesday 16th March 2010
7pm Location: Deepest Darkest Southchurch

In a Darts Spectacular, the question is who will win this epic battle of Hobbit vs Beast

Scott 'Steak Meal' Peters (TrueBlue)

Age: 24
Weight: 18st 12lb
Home Town: Hockley, Essex
Likes: Steak and Protesting without a reason
Dislikes: The Left Wing
Darts: 26g Black 95% Tungsten Phil Taylor Phase 5's

After the first game in January Scott looked like it was going to be a long series but after raising his game and with a lacklustre performance from Lee he stormed home in Feb. This could go either way tonight Scott has not picked up his darts in over a week in hope to be fresh out of the blocks for tonight's encounter.

Ladbrokes: 2/1
Coral: 2/1
William Hill: 5/4
Paddy Power: Evens
Bet365: 5/4

Lee 'Happy Hobbit' Venus (BlueBlood)

Age: 39
Weight: 9st 2lb
Home Town: Southend-On-Sea, Essex
Likes: Drinking and Midget Porn
Dislikes: Colchester United and that nevereatwhitesnow bloke
Darts: 21g Harrows

Lee has had an up and down month from what our reports tell us one day the darts are flowing and the next they are drifting into the 5's and 1's, Lee is very much a confidence player and if he comes out tonight with belief in himself he being the better player technically especially on checkouts he should cruise home to victory.

Ladbrokes: 1/2
Coral: 1/2
William Hill: Evens
Paddy Power: Evens
Bet365: 10/11

Looks like this has really caught the imagination of the SZ public Scott

Oh well, lets make it a game to remember for a change mate

Unfortunately i left my notes at work so can't post up a full match report tonight but the key details are

BLUEBLOOD 5 TrueBlue 1 (Series score BLUEBLOOD 2 TrueBlue 1)

I won the first 4 sets to nil and was 2-0 up in the 5th but miscounted and had a single dart at D17 (instead of the intended D16) to clinch what would have been a total whitewash.

I'm not gloating here btw, i actually suggested to Scott that we call last night a practise night and not an official result but he was most insistant that it counted and i should post the report as usual

Anyway, from the depths of despair TB suddenly clicked into gear and won 3 legs on the spin to take the set before i got home 3-1 in the 6th

It wasn't a great night obviously but my doubling was pretty good and twice i took out 120 odd with 4 darts

wardy called earlier and said he might drop in, if he does i'll keep a record and post a report tomorrow

I announce my retirement from the world of darts

no
you
don't

so you had a poor night mate, i've had plenty as you well know (including being beaten by a 10 year old on several occassions)

Stick at it and you'll come good again i'm sure
