I have just realised that the only 'new' album I bought this year was "Union" by The Boxer Rebellion. **** I'm getting old.

New album? I quite like "Attacking is the New Defending" by The One Plus Three.

I've not liked much hip hop this year but maybe I'm checking out the wrong stuff?

Dalek, Mos Def, MF Doom and Blackroc were all decent but none were outstanding. Jay-Z's was dealt with a bit harshly, but again it wasn't awesome.

I hear Raekwon's effort was very good...

Ok I haven't bought that many this year but what springs to mind is;

Union - The Boxer Rebellion
Sigh No More - Mumford & Sons
Journal For Plague Lovers - Manic SP.
Speech Therapy - Speech DeBelle
West Rider etc - Kasabian
Black Gives Way to Blue - Alice In Chains
Light & Dark - Kate Walsh
Good Day - Priscilla Ahn

David Guetta - One Love
The Prodigy - Invaders must Die
Dizzee Rascal - Tounge N Cheek

Nah, nothing decent this year. But I've heard some good stuff from La Coka Nostra;Method Man; T-Kash, Grand Puba, K-Rino and J-Ro. Also Royce da 5'9
