Take care in the heat!

Lost my little Russian dwarf hamster yesterday, he'd hated the heat, despite our best efforts to keep him as cool as possible. We think he suffered a stroke Sunday night and the poor little thing had got worse as the day went on yesterday - he was just laying on his side, taking a few drops of water from a syringe. Kindest thing to do was to phone the vet. Absolutely gutted as he was a dear little thing.
