Our few little runs of better form in L2 a year or so back were always with him in the team. when he got injured we went back to being horrific. Not saying that was the only reason, but he wasn't part of the problem. Would probably have done ok in a better team. Hope he gets another chance at pro level.

Playing for Southend at the time he did could not have been easy.
He could never be faulted for lack of effort and it is a shame things did not work out better for him.
He is still young and may yet be able to carve out some sort of niche for himself.

Good luck to the lad. I liked him for his work rate and effort. Apparently a really nice guy, too. Sadly he lacked in physical attributes and end product as well as being thrust into a terrible first team way too early in his development
