I am an admirer of much of his skilful hold up play and ability in the air

BUT

he plays back to goal so our attacks go back before going forward and he is not that mobile or fast or good in front of goal ..

my thoughts are that we are playing his game, playing to his "strengths" and not playing another game using speed and skill....

All a bit of a conundrum but I think everyone can see the problem just don't have an answer

The answer is playing 442 but that means dropping jack payne as he would not fit in a 442

Disagree. I don't think we are playing his game. Corr has shown consistently over his time at SUFC that he can score goals, so why is it not happening now? Well in the first half he was far too isolated and had to come far too deep to win headers and play the ball. In the second half the attacking midfielders pushed further up the pitch and Corr was able to get in the box and try to get on the end of crosses and he had several chances. Corr isn't the problem, either the attacking 3 midfielders have to push up higher and get into the box or he needs a strike partner to work with.

Didn't help that Corr got absolutely nothing out of the officials today. I actually think Coulthirst would be better in the Jack Payne hole as he's stronger.
