Whilst reading the Da Vinci code I had a strange brainwave that has escalated into a quest of illuminati proportions.

In the Autumn of 2003 Southend Unearthed the burial mound of a saxon king. This coincided with the placement of Tilson being named temporary manager and then manager of the Blues. This coincided with the ressurection of our beloved club.

If you draw a line from the burial mound it goes through St Mary Church where there is an arch from the 7th century, the same time as when the king was alive, continuing this line and it goes through the Blue Boar

I will be researching more fascinating facts and produce a pdf for download soon, but don't hold your breath as I haven't even had the time to update one page on my website yet

Sounds far more plausible than the Da Vinci code. That is rather old hat now.

There are of burial grounds there but the actual site is just off of my line of power, which runs throuh Temple Farm in that way via more cemetaries.
It's a conspiracy, but I cannot release my findings just yet
