This week, we can expect a colourful array of dark blue and red at our hosts venue. Note how the dark blue dominates the red in a 3 quarter design. I'm sure our corner takers on the day will not be disappointed with such a feast of designer genius facing them as they are called upon to create a goalscoring opportunity.

With our fans camped in the Bay Radio Stand, they might be lucky enough to get close enough to two, count them, two flags from this stadium visit which will almost certainly create a fine photo opportunity for additions to home albums, computer desktops, and hallway pictures aplenty!

And there's more good news!!! With winds gusting to 17mph according to the met office, I expect these bad boys to be prancing their colours for most of the afternoon!! (If ever you needed an excuse to head to Morecambe!)

Unfortunately my friend, we aren't in the Bay radio Stand. We have been allocated a block of seats at the end of the main stand (The Peter McGuigan Stand)

Shocking decision! I'm afraid you'll only see one flag up close and personal.

Poor excuse for a flag IMO. Notice how the flag is pointing to the left, it should always be pointing to the right. As for the bland white stick, have people in Morecambe not heard of accessorising?

Trinny and Susannah would not be impressed!

I have to disagree, that flag looks thoroughly erect to me and pointing to the skies with pride. Your comment has prompted me to view the image closer....and..... Is that a canny little cap sitting next to the flag to stop the filthy rain water creeping in when the corner flags are off-duty? How impressive.

This thread has cheered up my afternoon no end. An in-depth analysis of opposition corner flags...............priceless!

If more than 500 of us turn up i would expect the terrace to be opened. Would'nt mind betting this is commercialism where we have to pay the higher price of a seat without the choice.

You could be right, we've been allocated roughly 500 seats as far as i know. So if more than that turn up, blues fans will be paying full whack (AKA seating prices) to stand...crafty northerners
