The good old days in the North Bank

Under the table you must go...If I catch you bending I'll saw your legs right off...Oh my what a rotten song, what a rotten song...and a what a rotten singer too! Who the hell came up with these (and the rest) lyrics? Tremendous.
If you started in the back row of the Pak this song would guarantee to get you to the front. Used to scare me to death as an 11 year old, not the song, rather the action of the Pak!

Oh I do like to be beside the seaside,
Oh I do like to be beside the sea,
With a bucket and a spade,
And an effin hand grenade,
Beside the seaside,
Beside the sea,
SEA! SEA! SEASIDERS!
I remember that one… it was sometimes followed with ‘oh for Southend is wonderful, it’s full of ‘t**, f**** and united, of for Southend is wonderful. Rather rood but also rather catchy!

Southend on sea Southend on sea, the longest pier you’ll ever see, from Roots Hall to Wembley, we’re gonna get there eventually

Used to love watching this from the East Blues!

There was also the "In your Liverpool (or any other Northern city, but I remember it being mainly Liverpool) homes, you look in the dustbin for something to eat, you find a dead cat and you think it's a treat, in your Liverpool homes!"

When the original South Bank was reduced down to around a fifth of its size and became used exclusively for away fans, then any time it started raining…. “You’re getting wet, you’re getting wet, we’re not, we’re not.”
