I love this programme, it has been interesting and mildly amusing IMO.
I have checked contestants and from Essex there is a Lithuanian female body builder! ( Not too much British in her then).
Standard seems to be 6 men, six women, some old, some mums, some grans, token /business/ex-army/scot/asian/gay representatives and a young lady for Hollywood to flirt with.
As it is the same formula as previous series it ought to be good TV.

How do you know? Do you know her boy/girl friend?

Love this programme, and I know MK is very excited about it too!

Twee middle class bollocks.

I hate Mel and Sue with a passion. The type of public school Oxbridge graduates that seem to find it so easy to hitch a ride on the BBC gravy train.

Week 1 done. Stu had to go, couldn't bake, couldn't do a lot well.
Reasonable start to series and a couple of strong bakers.
Men bakers looked generally week other than Tamil who must have been a close 2nd place for star baker.

He took liberties, and Mary and Paul don't like that....he probably saw it as initiative but it wasn't.

Bit harsh, he wouldn't have got on the programme if he couldn't bake. His non-Black forest Gateaux looked fantastic.....but it wasn't a BF Gateaux, hence why he went. The black woman who's cake disintegrated and "tasted like rubber" must have a cake fairy on her shoulder.....lucky lucky...
