$(KGrHqFHJCsE70J)sksQBPFBCV5qyg~~60_12.jpgRemember the classic football game Subbuteo. Well ,its making a come back soon and will be on sale in the shops again. The game got killed by computer games etc, But the game still carried on, there many clubs around the country where people meet up and play in Leagues etc. Think there only one club in Essex but thats in chigwell. May be there be one soon in Southend you never know. Subbuteo was the best table football game ever, people are buying the old game on E- Bay, some of the old teams sell for £50 and more, but you can get bargains from 99p, You can buy a complete box set, with 2 teams . goals, pitch, corner flags for £20 that a bargain. All you need then is a huge 8x4 plywood or something to rest the pitch on, then you away. Before you ask, the old southend team is very rare, think its worth about £70.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't too detailed, considering the players were only an inch high

never went away for me as soon as my son was old enough i introduced him the greatest toy/game ever created, my childhood basically went like this- get up play football, on way back from park buy the latest roy of the rovers, get home play subbuteo, on saturdays/fridays watch southend.
