The Kevolution on Fifa 22

Thanks to the wonders of Fifa on PC, I've had the privilege of creating the 'Kevolution' on Fifa 22.

Inspired by @BILLERICAY BLUE's Kevolution FM21 thread!

Replaced Scunthorpe in League 2, created Southend United and added all the players I'd like to see with us in L2 if we were to do the impossible this season.

Did all of this while listening to Status Quo's 'Rockin All Over The World' thinking of Super Steve Arnold

Matchday 2: Rochdale AFC vs Southend United, 14th August

Starting lineups:

3 changes from the first game of the season. Dennis benched (lack of form), Cardwell rested after a cup fixture, Tom Clifford ruled out for 4 weeks with sprained ankle.

Key events:
11' - Southend United BOOKING - Lopata brings down Campbell and gets a caution.

17' - Rochdale GOAL! - Newby cuts in from the right, beating Ralph and chips the ball over Arnold into the far left corner. Poor defending. 1-0 Dale

41' - Rochdale GOAL! - Newby again cutting in from the right, but Arnold lets a tame shot slip under him into the back of the net. 2-0 Dale.

HT - Rochdale 2-0 Southend. SUFC hardly even registered an attempt so far.

46' - Southend SUBS - ON: Cardwell, Dennis, Neal. OFF: Murphy, Dalby, Atkinson

68' - CLOSE! Cardwell is played in well by Powell and shoots just wide of the post

48' - Walsall GOAL! A teasing cross from the left hand side finds Miller who heads home for 2-0.

59' - YELLOW CARD. Ollie Kensdale hauls down Miller on the edge of the box to pick up a booking.

65' - Southend United GOAL! Cardwell finds space in the 18 yard box and fires home into the right hand side of the net. 2-1

76' - Southend United GOAL! Cardwell feeds a through ball to young prospect Bradley, who takes a touch and fires home into the left hand side of the net on his debut. 2-2!

79' - Southend United GOAL! Cardwell with the assist again, teeing up Noor Husin who sends a shot flying into the top corner from 25 yards out! 2-3!

81' - Southend United SUB ON: Dalby. OFF: Cardwell.

86' - Walsall GOAL! Labadie is played in behind the back line who are caught napping, and fires into the top corner from 18 yards. 3-3.

90' - Southend GOAL! Dennis ghosts in behind Walsall's defence as the ball is turned over in midfield. Noor Husin sends a perfect pass in behind to Dennis, who squares to Dalby for a comfortable finish. 3-4!

Starting lineups

After a miserable 3-0 battering away at Barrow, a change of formation will hopefully bring new fortune in a top of the table clash against 2nd-placed Crawley Town.

4-3-2-1 is the order of the day, with Lopata dropped and Neal coming into deep central midfield.

Matchday 15: Colchester United vs Southend United

Starting lineups


After a great 5-1 win against Crawley, Southend remain unchanged for a crunch match against Col Ewe.

Two teams on totally different form, Southend find themselves 1st in the league, with Colchester in 21st. Of course, this means nothing in a local derby.

8' - CLOSE! Southend dominating the opening exchanges here, Powell fires a shot at the near post and George parries behind for a Southend corner.

13' - Southend United GOAL!!! Callum Powell cuts inside, beats Welch-Hayes and fires a powerful shot into the roof of the net. George gets a hand to it, but it's not enough. 0-1!

22' - A full blooded challenge from Ralph wins the ball back for Southend, but the ref blows for a foul!

35' - Southend United GOAL!!! Callum Powell assists with a great through ball to Cardwell, who lets the ball run across his body before slotting the ball into the bottom left corner. 0-2!

41' - YELLOW CARD. Dobra goes straight through the back of Callum Powell and gets a caution. Lucky to not be a red.
