Especially if they don't go up this season, they'll no doubt change manager in the summer who will have to make something work with those players whether they want them or not.

The documentary could be interesting but I wouldn't expect it to be an international hit for more than one series.

The doc is signed up for two series with an option for more.
Parky is on a rolling contract so the jury is out on that one.

Stupid money indeed but reportedly well wide of the mark.

Bottom line is it’s money we can afford. Sponsorship deals, 8k plus average crowds, documentary series etc etc have seen to that.

is it sustainable? Time will tell but the owners are in it for the long haul. For them it’s not just about the club, it’s about our town too.

The problem is those sponsorship deals are only in place because of the documentary. Notts County have the biggest support in the league (aside from yourselves) but if they approached TikTok or Expedia about sponsorship they'd be laughed out of the building, reaching a few thousand people in advertising is nothing to them.

The documentary is what makes you attractive since their brands will be prominent in a Netflix show (which could potentially be watched by millions), if that doesn't get renewed for a second season then even with the star power of your owners I'm not convinced those companies would be renewing their deals.

do you really think they are in it for the long haul? They'll be gone within 5 years. Have they been to a game yet?

Wrexham would be mad not to move on from Parkinson and go for James Rowe, if he's approachable. A fair few Chesterfield fans in pub back in our FA cup tie in November were quite incredulous about the effect he had impacted on their fortunes.

If any of the goss going round about him is true they would be mad to go for him.
