New Southend United management duo Paul Sturrock and Tommy Widdrington answered questions in an open forum for Shrimpers Trust members in the Shrimpers Bar at Roots Hall on Thursday evening.

Rob Craven's report on the evening can be found here.

fantastic report. really interesting stuff. Well done for the Trust for arranging the event, and it's great to see Tommy and Paul aren't afraid to speak their minds.

Yep, echo Pubey's sentiments. That's a fantastic report offering great insight into the club and what's been happening over the last few months. Reading Sturrock's comments about the Hog roast, table-tennis and training, you get the feel that he's building more than just a football team, and that he cares deeply about what happens here during his tenure.

It'd be great to set up another one of these after the January window.

Good read that. Although sounds like Granty will be off on loan somewhere soon with a move made permanent in Jan.
