Probably been done before but I am working from home and bored so....

Just knocked up a cheese and ham toastie with German mustard a bit of an amuse bouche before lunch.

Anyone else?

Subway steak and cheese. Green peppers, red onion and lots of black olives. No sauce.

Clearly unbeatable.

for me today its the last of the roast gammon from Sunday, English mustard, mayo, cheese and pickled gherkins. that's a winning combo!

Do you make your own or buy? I think a poll is required!

Wife makes mine. Egg and Tomato today. She is trying to cut out white bread in favour of that 50/50 stuff so not as nice as they could be.

All this Best of Both did make me wonder who ends up with the other bit and is it called the Worst of Both.

I actually prefer brown bread over white. Always have, even as a nipper.

Gregg's Tuna Crunch is indeed a very good sarnie. I do like a prawn mayo as well, with Marks' being my favourite. When I worked in the city, our local sandwich bar used to do something they called chicken supreme, it was small pieces of chopped chicken in seasoned mayo, with fine cut celery and red peppers and loads of seasoning - I try and replicate it at home when I have left over chicken, it's close, but it's never as good as theirs was.

I love a sandwich though and have always enjoyed making platters up for family tea-times, corned beef and beetroot is good, and cheese and pickled onion is great too. My dad introduced me to a triple decker sandwich when I was little, three slices, bottom layer crunchy peanut butter and sliced banana, top layer cheese and marmite - absolutely lovely, but not the most healthy of options!

What. On. Earth.
