One of my fingers in one of of those huge pies expats need to find and take advantage of is organising sports tours to Jávea; I have just finished an international mixed netball tournament, hugely successful, hugely enjoyable with teams from Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Malaysia.

Anyway, the end-of-tour dinner took part at a local hostelry and turned into one helluva party, hugely successful, hugely enjoyable (as the hangover the next morning suggested). However, my only gripe is that I cannot stop going "WOOHOO YEAHOO" ... the Gwen Stefani latest offering was a huge floor-filler during the party with the whole place filled with over 100 people shouting the aforementioned "woohoo yeahoo" at the top of their voices. I confess that, although being a huge fan of Stefani's ample rear, I'd never heard of this song before this particular evening.

Is it as annoying in the UK as it has become here?

;)
