The Rules are as follows.....

There will be 2 threads each for each Saturday the 1st being this one where I will need 15 teams nominated from the SZ users who think will win there match this Saturday.

Once the 15 have been nominated a Poll will be raised for SZ users to decide from the 15 nominated whether they themselves agree with the nomination thus some predictions will have stronger backing then others allowing gamblers to bet with a touch more camaraderie, this poll I will aim to have up by Wednesday every week leaving 3 full days for users to vote.

Each week I will do a review (sometimes on a Sunday of I am away watching SUFC) that will show how good we were that week.

I also realise that there if value in selecting Draws but at the present time and to contain order I am just looking for WIN SELECTIONS ONLY

One last thing I think its fair to say if I deem a nomination to be a heavy banker i.e last week Manchester United win, I will not count it as we are looking to find value here for bets and bankers like that add little value for risk.

Lets have your nominations (SATURDAY ONLY and TO WIN outright)

Southampton away @ Tranmere has to be worth a look as Southampton are scoring for fun!!

Probably won't back them myself unless they are better than 7/5 though...

best price 21/20...

Therefore I would not like this as my suggestion.

I will throw in Hereford to beat Macclesfield.

Rgds.

When you consider Arsenal are 1/7 in a game they're just as likely to win, 2/5 is value.

Quite. The concept of 'value' in betting is much misunderstood.

A bet is value if you are getting it for a bigger price than it probably should be.

Take Norwich vs Yeovil - if they are 2/5, that says they have a 71.43% chance of winning. If you happen to believe that Norwich are actually an 80% (1/4) chance to win the game, then 2/5 is value. Short, but value.

Of course, it's all in the eyes of the beholder. Someone else may think that Norwich only have a 65% chance of winning (about 8/15) so for them, 2/5 Norwich would be poor value.

Unlike last week, there's alot of ugly fixtures this weekend, throughout the Champ, L1 & L2. Difficult to find a good one to go for but i shall go for Hartlepool to beat Southend and you can get that bang on evens with Bet365!

Southampton to beat Tranmere.

Ladbrokes have them at evens which, giving their recent form, is mental if you ask me.

A couple of ways that look good based on form and league positioning...

Leicester away at Sheffield Wednesday

Coventry away at Peterborough

Leicester was going to be my nomination :( At 6/4 you can't knock that.

Other games to note;

(as others have said) Saints to beat Tranmere @ evens?!?! That's a touch.

'Udder away at Gills @ 11/8

Spurs to beat Fulham @ 7/5
