Didn't Ron say that some of the new staff brought in by MM should cover the work done by a CEO in one of his statements?

Ron is his own worst enemy (as OBL says) and sometimes, because these days any sense of truth is optional, certainly in public life, its very easy just to assume we are always be lied to.

Just to be clear, these are the Trust Chairman's words, not mine. I've just copied them over, with his approval.

No, not as I recall. He said that the work of a CEO was being divided up and covered by existing employees such as Rhys and Patrick.

The only person for Ron who would be acceptable as CEO would be his Son.

I don't think I can think of anything worse than that. It would take our situation to a new and even more dangerous level. I'm already very uneasy about the ground having so much to do Ron Martin's evil sporn's company as it is already.

I doubt it can get any worse to be honest. Virtually relegated with the worse team in the league and probably worse owner. New owners are needed to get this club back to being a stable run club again and give fans hope again!

I don't think I know what a 'stable' club is anymore. All we're used to is HMRC wind up's and embargo's

Ron must know the state of the Union, given the EFL agreed the £50m Premier League package of loans and Grants in principle 3 weeks ago now.

The Final make up of the deal is down to clubs to determine and agree. The Oldham chairman said that a tremendous amount of consultation is taking place with the EFL in whom he has confidence !!! Presumably then detailed negotiations have been going on re how the final package is distributed ( Bun fight )

Some might argue for payment based on wages and gates history, or debt levels, this might benefit some clubs unfairly, others might make the point more about wider costs from Ground maintenence and repairs, stadium running costs, admin and staff costs etc

No doubt there are a whole raft of potential considerations for the bailout final agreed package.

Unless Ron has forgotten, what he thinks he will have a strong view on this and know the latest score

Lets hope a common sense and agreement is very close to hand for the handout and Umbongo resolution and it doesnt rattle on like Brexit, no club can afford to delay much longer.

And a long term solution is needed not a very temporary stitch up

Sadly i think it is too late now. The quality of players available to us, who'd actually want to play for us i.e. havent had a better offer elsewhere, when the embargo is lefted are going to be the dross left on the shelf no one else wanted. Every week the points gap is getting wider. We'll soon be needing play-off form at least to get out of trouble and our current squad is so far short of that kind of ability it will take a lot more than 3 or 4 waifs & strays coming in. We'll only pick up the odd point when whoever we're playing is having a bad day. We need to get used to the fact we're going down barring a miracle. The challenge in my opinion is going to be rebuilding a squad capable of being competitive in the NL, by that I mean surviving for starters. If Ron thinks this squad will be ok down there he is sadly mistaken. I honestly doubt if this current side could get promoted from the Ryman league, we're that bad. Our only tiny chance is if Ron gets the embargo cleared and we bring in another lump of a forward to go alongside Akinola, another solid experienced central defender, an experienced but not ancient CM, and another keeper. A spine in other words, because right now we are so spineless its frightening. However anyone decent won't come cheap and im not sure where the money will come from right now, hence I'm expecting more bargain basement no-hopers & relegation by March.

Relegation by March. Your hopeful. Give it a couple of weeks and we will be so far adrift it will be impossible to claw back even with Ronaldo Messi and whoever let alone this squad.

Well realistically I think we're as good as relegated now, I was just meaning mathematically..

Please don't hold your breath.MM!! Hoping you've learnt a thing or two about RM since joining !
