For some strange reason, that I will seek immediate therapy for, I was thinking that rather than having Chesney Hawkes or Chas 'n' Dave as the next act at the Family Fun Game, we should to celebrate our Centenary invite former Southend players onto the pitch to perform as a Village People tribute act.

To this end my line-up of former stalwarts would be:

The motor-bike traffic cop one: Chris Ramsey
The leather-clad biker one: Roy McDonough
The construction worker one: Lars Unger
The First Nation American(!) one: Francisco Cagigao
The cowboy one: Phil Gridelet

Surely better that than some seventy-sixth rate singer(s).
