The All Blacks just dealt with England at Twickenham, tonight they obliterated France 12 - 39.......a display of awesome power, from what one of my knowledgeable colleagues down here, described as a weak New Zealand side. Don't be fooled into believing that the All Blacks saw us as the important match of the tour. It was this one that counted, it was here they wanted to do the business.........and by hell, they did it. It was sometimes X-rated stuff that the French public were obliged to witness and the gap between the two sides was almost as large as the distance between the two countries. France weren't that bad but they were just torn apart and the ground that needs to be made up between now and the World Cup, in N-Z in two years time, is frightening on tonights showing.

They are the Brazil of Rugby Union, iconic almost. I'm no Rugby fan but went to a Bledisloe Cup match here (Australia vs New Zealand) and seeing the All Blacks run out and do the haka was quite an awe inspiring thing.

They do have a habit of seriously stuffing up in Rugby World Cup year though.
