Guys, following on so soon after Rememberance Day, can I share the idea of a proposed War Memorial for Thundersley with you and ask for your support in emailing the Council who, apparently, don't see the 215 members of the Facebook Group behind this as enough reason to pursue the idea?

Mr John Rogers, is campaigning for a War Memorial to be erected in Thundersley Village. Thundersley is the only district of the four in Castle Point without a public War Memorial, and now is the time in the 21st Century, to honour the fallen of Thundersley after 96 years.

John is working hard to secure funding from various sources and consent from Castle Point Borough Council. Please show your support by "liking" the Facebook page and add your comments of support as he hopes to achieve a fitting tribute to those men and women of Thundersley who have given their lives so that we may live in freedom.

THEY SHOULD NOT BE FORGOTTEN
