Torquay chairman Mike Bateson has reacted angrily following striker Jo Kuffour's decision to join Brentford.
"He texted (Torquay manager) Ian tw&tkins on Wednesday to say he would be down soon to sign our contract," Bateson told his club's website.

"But he claimed to be in France, and was unable to attend sooner. Another nail is hammered in the coffin of player integrity."

Kuffour has linked up with ex-Gulls boss Leroy Rosenior at Griffin Park.
