if league 1 ,2 and lower played during the summer ,i think attendances would be higher,not just because of the warmer weather but also those that go to watch premiershite and championship would be able to attend lower league games and then during the winter months attend their premiershite and championship , football all the year round,yes it would hurt the cricket etc sports played during the summer months.

And how would contracts and transfers work when the seasons run at different times. You would also then br promoted while the championship season was in progress and therefore have a lot of time with no football or if they schedule them to start when L1 and 2 end would have no break.

Never noticed bigger attendances on international weekends, your right Stewart calling it the premiershite but I think it’s wrong to think their followers would watch lower leagues football, many are plastic bit like their league . It’s only cold if you don’t wear the right clothing
