Just been sent a text telling me the rumour is that Tilson has today walked away from Southend.

Anyone heard anything similar?

Someone has posted that on Facebook a few minutes ago. Perhaps in Martin's next "Knee Update" statement it might confirm the situation at the end of the message.

Just had a text from a buddy who says Tilly has apparently gone due to ongoing contract issue and payment problem. Apparently a meeting took place today?

Slight contradiction to the thread on here yesterday, which rumored the players and Tilly had issued a 14 day notice to club with the intention of terminating their contracts.

It seems there is certainly something going on.

I'm off on my holibobs, so I wont get all the dirty details if its true. I would be absoulutly gutted if it is because the only saving grace left was that we had somone in charge who is southend trough and through. This is a new low of all lows!
