Today’s NL games

I suppose so but what I mean is we can't keep rely on teams slipping up. We need to get those points on the board because the teams around us can't keep losing.
50 points is the magical number that will keep us up. If you look back over the last 6 or 7 seasons you will see that will keep you in this league. The difference this season is that only three sides will be relegated.
 
Seem to recall a certain MM having a brilliant run in December with us a year ago and then when we hoped to kick on in January he decided to tighten the defence and we barely scored again for the rest of the season!
The drop in form happened when Olayinka (aka our only decent attacking threat last season) got injured, we likely tightened up the defence because without Olayinka (and Kyle Taylor who never really recovered after his absence) we lacked the firepower to get back into the game if we conceded.
