Cinema only releases...

1) Where The Wild Things Are
2) Star Trek
3) Up!
4) Let The Right One In
5) District 9

Notable mentions for Paranormal Activity, An Education.

Biggest let down: Watchmen.

not sure on the order, but Star Trek, Up!, Let the Right One In and The White Ribbon are on mine. Hoping A Serious Man will make it too

Bit of a crap year for films really. Transformers 2 is top of my list. Quality film.

The Hangover is a superb film, and would certainly be on my list.

A lot depends if you think you are super intellect and poo poo films as they are meant to be enjoyment, similar to those who knock X Factor and Britains got talent

My top 5 are

MILK
The Reader
Defience
Wrestler
Valkyrie

Really think this year was brilliant for entertaining films

In no particular order,

Inglourious Basterds
Harry Potter
The Hangover
District 9
Star Trek

Er, all 2008 matey.

Sadly I doubt many would have see it but The Hurt Locker was far out in front of anything else I saw this year.

Perhaps my favourite war film ever. Easily one of the most realistic.

Film of the year.

Not seen a huge amount for once. But ones I did see and liked were:

1. In the loop
2. District 9
3. Up
4. Slumdog Millionaire
5. Harry Potter 67

Surely I saw something else vaguely arty?
