48 minutes into the new revamped series and I must say that as irritating as he was; it ain't the same without Clarkson...

Also LeYank is not a patch on the 2 stooges!
 
Give it a chance. Even on the old new version of TG, James May wasn't brought in until the second series.

Anyway my thoughts. Chris Evans sounded as if he was trying too hard on the voiceovers to come across as knowledgeable. It is fine Chris, you are a DJ by trade.


The only bit I didn't really like was the trip to Blackpool, it had no purpose other to get them to there. But then there is some filler stuff on old TG too, such as rounding up cattle in Australia. But overall I thought it was a good first go at it.

If I had picked a host, it would have been Robert Llewellyn.
