Transfer fees

I believe we paid a transfer fee, reported as £12,500, for Anthony Straker.

Can anybody remember the last player we paid a fee for prior to this?

PS- this is not a Straker bashing thread.

To be fair to Straker i thought he was excellent yesterday. Given the confidence to maraud down our left flank i think he actually could be one of our star players at Wembley! i dont know why but i think he's even gonna score for us !!!

Benyon was a nominal fee as was Spillane I believe. Think we may have paid something for Cresswell as he was transfer listed by his previous club rather than being released. No idea how much it was though, probably not a huge amount.

I just spat my drink on to my keyboard....now I am not a Straker basher but no way was he excellent yesterday. He was not even average!!!
