What makes you think that the issues you refer to are not cultural rather than a problem associated strictly with Islam?

Why do people like you seek to defend the un-defendable? Islam and more importantly Sharia Law are based on the fundamental teachings of Muhammad.

The inherent barbarism and backward thinking can't change because to do so would require rejection of the Quran itself and Islam threatens Muslims with death if they criticize Muhammad.

And why would anyone have to read the Quran to have an opinion?

Only the smallest amount of research is necessary to quickly realise that Islam is a cruel, backwards and murderous religion.

Erm....are they? I can pretty much guarantee that 95% of Serbs are funnily enough Serb Orthodox. The only Serbian territory that has any significant Muslim population is Kosovo. And I think you will find Croatia is 95% Roman Catholic, the other 5% being Orthodox. Major Muslim population in the region is only found in Bosnia and Albania (saying that most Albanians seem to be in the UK after claiming they are Kosovan refugees)
