Lots of threads on SZ could be more efficient ***, but this thread is only about TV presenters that get right up your nose. Efficiency doesn't come into it, anymore than some folk liking those that others dislike.

Sometimes a career just needs two minutes of quality output to be justified!

On the whole I think radio presenters are worse. We have a different radio station on at work each day. Radio 1, Radio X, Absolute and Heart presenters are almost all excruciating. 6 Music day is the saving grace.

Nicky Campbell's Big Question thing I find very watchable.


From the little I have seen of James O'Brien he is very on the ball and gets real answers to real questions. Paxman is too eager to play devil's advocate. Something that Kay Burley attempts and makes a complete hash of.


Dermot O'Leary comes across as sincere.

Holmes is quality,he tells it as it is.
