Surely Alfie Mawson if that's the guy who was at Wycombe is older than 21?

23 in fact! I think the rules re qualification state that the player must be 21 or younger at the start of the campaign, hence why quite a few older players end up playing come the actual tournament.

Anyway, very best of luck to them. The U20s are having a good tournament too so there are reasons to be cheerful but quite how many games these lads will get for their club sides is another matter entirely

We cannot do any worse than last time with Southgate.He done a Hodgson...come bottom,very poor effort,with a very good squad.
Do hope we done,still remember 82-84.
Germans ,so they tell us,have already won the u-21 cup!!!We wil see.
BUt one fact,which was said on tv,when Germany beat our (u-21) in March...EVERY player in the German team.plays or played often in the Bundesliga....Englands players dont (or most) play in the Prem league...we MUST change it
