I have been reliable informed that Tuesday 26 November's U23 match v Leyton Orient is a 1pm Kick off at Boots & Laces. Should anyone fancy going along?!
It may be your only chance to see us win!!!

Line up

Taylor, Howard, Osimeh, Mantom, Lennon, Egbri, Burnett, Rush, Kinali, Demetriou, Acquah. Subs: Grossart (GK), Lambourne, Brown, Stewart, Mitchell-Nelson.

Presumably lining up 4-4-2

Taylor
Howard Demetriou Lennon Osimeh
Egbri Burnett Mantom Kinali
Acquah Rush

Tommy Lambourne is from the youths but who is Brown?

Chris Phillips praising Mantom, who has completed his comeback and been replaced on 68 minutes by O'Shane Stewart.

Tommy Lambourne has now come on for Emile Acquah for his u23 debut.

SOUTHEND United's under 23 coach Craig Fagan felt the Shrimpers fully deserved their 'horrible' 2-0 win against Leyton Orient this afternoon.

Interesting quote from coach Craig Fagan after the game.
"We got the ball forward and played in the right areas"
Are you listening Sol?
