#BluesU23s vs Cambridge United: Seaden, Howard (c), Clifford, Stewart, Osimeh, Mitchell-Nelson, Benton, Burnett, Hutchinson, Rush, Kinali. Subs: Phillips, Pianim, Knock, Unwin, Brogan.

So assume Hutch not playing tonight,

Who is Burnett?

Looks like Richard Taylor and Terrell Egbri both involved tonight.

I don’t think Cambridge have a 23s so it’s basically just a reserve team from their first team squad / Youth team......

Lost 3-1 with a late Matt Rush consolation.

Jabo Ibhere scored two for them but the exciting news was an outfield player going in goal for the final 6 minutes. Youth team skipper Sam Knock donned the gloves after Harry Seaden took a knock.

SOUTHEND United’s under-23 team coach Craig Fagan was a frustrated figure following this afternoon's 3-1 defeat at Cambridge United in the Central League Cup.
