I am a student atm but next year I am going on a placement year and am looking at going for a job in Uxbridge. Does anyone know how long it will roughly take from Chelmsford to Uxbridge on the train?? Thanks in advance!

My railplanner says 1hr 43 mins. That's if the trains run on time.... sod that, considered moving?

I would say at least two hours. It took me 1hr 45 from Chalkwell to Hammersmith this morning.

I have a feeling I was also considering it for my placement year (possibly Exxonmobil) but you'd be so much better off moving in with people from work. Not only will you be right near work but you'll also have a quality time!

hmm thats quite a while! cheers for the help guys! if the rail planner says an hour and three quarters then its going to be at least two hours lol! maybe another look at the placements list is needed!
