VAR debacles

VAR has been shocking in the last few weeks, compounded by the bailing out of Man Utd last night.

You can have all the tech you want but if the people operating it don't use it properly, you're still stuffed.

Whatever happened to 'clear and obvious error'? Cavani runs into the man he's marking.

I could be wrong here but wasn't a vast amount of FA cup games not using VAR? How can that be fair? Surely it's none or all?
Also agreed. I believe the issue lies with the fact that there is an admin fee for VAR being available each match, in the region of £4k-£5k.

Too much made of referee making errors part of the game before Var
Similar no one makes a fuss when players fall as if hit by a sniper bullet when not touched
I blame Sky etc who like the drama of it being played out and failed managers like Keane and Neville can have a useless debate
Let referees Ref the game like the old days when a game of football was just that
Similar cricket too many screaming appeals when Stevie Wonder could see it’s not out and pressure put on umpires
Why make a simple game so complicated

Chelsea and Chesterfield were actually charged £9,250 for VAR for their FA Cup game. :Look:

Should be a similar situation for all matches in the FA / League cups with no VAR in operation.
