what a great day. Loads of fans cheering the boys on. Tilson singing "are you watching col u" Loads of pics with Freddy Adam Tilson JCR Simth with the Trophy.

It was great to see Jay Smith there! He appears to have recovered from Oxford's defeat and relegation to the conference. If only he could recover from his injuries so quickly!

I can just see it now.....as he returned to the Oxford dressing room and amidst the tears of his distraught teammates he sneaked a quick peek at Southend's score. Having realised we had secured promotion as champions he began to cry (tears of joy), showered, dressed and left the Kassam with his head bowed only to motor to Southend to meet up with his teammates for a night of celebration.

Great fun day out...the BBC Essex mobile Unit was finding it tough going with all the boys in it jumping up and down screaming out loads of songs, let by a very exuberant Tilly!
