Don't forget that next year the wage cap for Div 3 clubs drops even further so that we will not be able to afford the sort of wages that Connie or Maher could get at a Div 2 club.

This season I believe Leon was on a very low basic with a high goal bonus. Therefore a 200% rise will guarantee more money in his pocket... and possibly remove the hunger.

He has only had one good season in his career.

I predict he will be a flop at Posh.
 
Im gutted that he has gone to P'Boro, and it shows that players of this day are more interested in money than the love of the game. I hope that it works out for him in a higher division, but hope even more that he can look back and thank Southend for making him the player he now is
