Garry Hill and his assistant have been axed.

The chairman, Martyn Harrison has been gambling the clubs future on a deal with Asda. They were set to buy Weymouth's ground and build a new store on it but have been denied a planning permission.

Funny thing is that Gary Calder is involved with this club behind the scenes. He was also involved with AFC Hornchurch, they went under. Also in his time at Billericay he had some players on heavy wages, they were funnily enough released when he left.

Shame, being down here in Dorset it'd be good to see another relatively local league club.

Strange thing about Weymouth is that there exisitng stadium is relatively new anyway. Bags of potential down there as well given the lack of clubs in this area.

poor old Garry Hill, every club he's touched since Daggers seems to end up going down the tubes.

Looks like Weymouth will be another Hornchurch, Canvey etc

Garry Hill followed Calder to Weymouth

Calder is slowly becoming the Peter Risdale of non league football

My ex girlfriends dad was a coach at billericay with calder. Always seemed a nice bloke
