Following on from DtS' news on the Countdown thread, what celebrity's death has hit you hardest?

I think it would be Tosh Lyons (from the Bill).

I can see it hit you hard. Did it hit you as hard as the death of Tosh Lines, or Kevin Lloyd?

Call me a cynical git if you like but no death of someone I don't know personally has ever 'hit me hard'. However celebrity deaths which have most saddened me are Kurt Cobain and John Peel.

Stuart Adamson. My favourite live band & one my all-time favourite bands. Saw them live so many times too!

Ben Hollioake, Surrey and England cricketer aged just 24.

Was very into my cricket at the time and he was one of my favourite players :(

Obviously after Gina the Gerbil as Naps has mentioned i'd go with

Ayrton Senna

George Harrison

Tommy Cooper
