If charged will RM meet the fit and proper criteria or is this Premier League only?

If charged will RM step down and appoint Geoff King as Interim Chairman

Has this lessened the likelihood of player transfers in and out as will RM be in a position to make decisions or will he be concentrating on other matters?

Is RMs Lawyer the busiest man in Britain??

The whole story is pathetic... and it's all the same old question!

The fit and proper persons test applies to all clubs... but I think it's only if there's a new owner or when they dish out the golden shares in the summer.

Ron needs to pay off the PFA to get that embargo lifted ASAP. Bournemouth and Rochdale prove that you don't need a lot of money to get promoted from League Two, just a good manager like Tilson:stunned:.

It might mean that our whole squad, both Johnny Herd and Stuart O'Keefe, learn what the word "sex" means considering they probably haven't started sex ed at school yet.

unbeleivable Jeff, you couldnt make up what is happening to this club! and what with the sun shining, the world cup, and the doom and gloom of our current predicament my thoughts have been elsewhere recently, and every piece of bad news i hear just makes me switch off even more!

yet barrys boss raises a serious point.

In the short term we all know of our recent troubles and we all have a pretty good idea how combined with lack of finances its going to be near impossible to attract players of any calibre. But this recent development can only have agents writing us off even further, and even those non league pretenders would think twice about joining a club so appearingly in freefall.

Longer term what would be the ramifications if he was convicted of this (am no way implying his guilt)
what would happen then? is it a simple case of passing the buck to (heaven forbid) GK to carry on, or is there a legal precedent with regards to appointment, or even financial matters? as we all know SUFC is essentially Ron Martin Ltd at the moment, just who would have control? beats me.

If you have ever read John Aizlewood book 'Playing at Home' one of the teams the chairman wife is in charge of the team as the chairman is in jail. So if the accusations as true ( I am not saying they are) then the worst case scenario is that Geoff King is in charge and the best we can hope for is that Mrs Martin is in charge
