What have you watched on TV?

Doing Money last night was lovely before bed. The horrors of modern sex slavery based on a true story of Ana. Bleak, but a bit patchy storywise.

And Doctor Who on Sunday was baaaaaadddd, first duff episode of JW Who'dom.

Very good, that.

Anca Dumitra played the part superbly.

Definitely. The gangster with a heart of gold was a bit of a stretch, but apparantly based on a true story.

The Walking Dead is back on form with a vengence. Really excited about the upcoming post-Rick Grimes episodes.

I read an article briefly last night involving an interview with Gwyneth Hughes, who created the drama for the TV and she said in there she had to leave a lot of the more horrific stuff out, as people would be too appalled and switch off.

I agree on it being a little disjointed at times, but that might be to do with adapting it for a TV audience. It did mean there were, like you say, some moments that didn't quite look right.

Some dramas could be shortened, but I actually think that one could have benefited with another half an hour or so to pull the story slightly better together. Especially the time after she left and sought help and the aftermath of that. Looked a bit rushed in the end.

The Walking Dead has returned to being must-watch TV again, a massive turn-around from the last few series where it was rapidly heading into the toilet.
