What have you watched on TV?

Finished watching Our Planet last night, that is possibly the best thing I’ve ever watched on TV. The shots they got were amazing. I watched the making of it and the lengths the people went to get a couple of minutes of footage is unreal.

Rather than send middle class film crews to all four corners of the world I have often thought environmentalism would be best served by compilations of features submitted by local documentary makers.

Jeremy Wade's latest show Dark Waters. Very much River Monsters which was always a fab watch. Jeremy had a great delivery style, very watchable

Started watching Westworld, pretty decent so far I think I’ll stick with this one and see how it goes.

It gets pretty screwed up. Jumps back and forth in time too. Worth sticking with it though. Get watching Project Bluebook and Timeless if you haven't already

Project Bluebook sounds like Project UFO from the late 1970s

Project UFO was based loosely on Project Bluebook and didn't feature Dr Alan Hynek.

Project Bluebook actually features Hynek and is based on actual events but clearly features fiction . Really quite interesting stuff though

Deutschland 86.

Too many plot threads, too unbelievable.

I am pretty sure Colibri wouldn't last 5 mins in a Southend pub let alone on the front line of the cold war.

Oh I don’t know, Southend pubs would probably remind him of the desperation and hardship of the repressive socialist society of East Germany.
I think it’s the best thing on TV for eons. It’s not meant to be a documentary.

I watched QT last night, or the first 25 minutes of it, a panel of interest, so I thought, with Thornberry and Clarke, plus journo from Guardian so I expected some sense but the best replies came from the comedian, once again. With most question turning to Brexit and then repeated "can kicking".
The Warrington audience were a poor (IMO) mix but a very frustrated bunch.

Plus the IEA stooge. Clarke was good I thought.

Clarke does talk a good job and he certainly had the right answers for the Williamson theme, Thornberry came across as patronising, the IEA lady as fervent but naive, and the Guardian as having all the questions and negatives but never an answer.
