What have you watched on TV?

3 parter on Washington. Really interesting and shows how poorly the empire treated those early Americans. Washington himself was not a particularly likable man and has his roots firmly in slavery.

If France had not sided with the yanks, things would have been hugely different.

Finished the blacklist. Very good and really enjoyed it, although the last episode of season 7 is weird. They wanted to finish it but they had to stop filming because of Covid. They then filled the gaps with animated scenes it’s very odd but good that they finished it. Unlike The Walking Dead which we are still waiting for the final episode.

For Life, another one with 50 Cent heavily involved and like Power was excellent. Loosely based on a true story. Well worth a watch and looking forward to season 2.

After the death of John Lewis, watched 'Selma' earlier, just before it was taken off the iPlayer. Excellent film, summed up the mood of the time 9/10.
Three Billboards on C4 last night, good story but strange ending 7/10

Just finished re-watching the last series of Ashes to Ashes. I'd forgotten quite how good it was, especially the last episode when we found out what had happened to Ray, Chris and Shaz.

Watching :

Hammer house of horror. 80s and similar to tales of the unexpected. Very dated and very English. Love it.

Kingdom. Chinese style Middle ages zombie ridden. Quite mad but has some quite good action.
