Thoroughly enjoyed (the repeats of) Chuck Berry in concert and the Tom Jones documentary on BBC 4 last night.

Yep 100% my thoughts. You have to treat it totally differently to the UK office. You can feasibly believe that the UK version is a documentary whereas the US version is far too ridiculous to be a mockumentary, treat it like a sitcom and its very enjoyable. With some great characters, like you say. Finally got round to cracking through The Office the US one. Brilliant, I’m on season 6. Once you get past the awful episodes that mimic the UK version it’s brilliant! Some excellent characters. Creed and Kevin are absolute gold! Michael’s hatred of Toby always cracks me up.

Yeah I saw him the year before that live at the Lanchester (Coventry) Arts festival in 1971.He was top of the bill, which included Slade.First time he'd performed in the UK since the Beatles days apparently.IIRC he might have been wearing the same rather loud shirt.Chuck was in great form.
Think they are both brilliant in different ways. It's easily the best sit-com even if does go a bit downhill after Michael leaves.

Enjoyed Stonehouse part 2 on ITV earlier.Funny in a camp sort of way.JS was obviously a fantisist of the first order.
Loved S1 - s2 was a bit mehEnjoying 'Black Spot' - French series on Netflix - has elements of Twin Peaks and the X-Files - very good.
Yeah, I'm three episodes into Season 2 and it's definitely not as good. Season 1 was tremendous.Loved S1 - s2 was a bit meh

Haven't seen the new Harry show yet but I think he (and she for that matter) would have to do well to outfantisize Stonehouse. As much as Hairy and Me-Gain? lol
I just saw the episode David Brent has a cameo in, I was really excited and loved it! Could do with being in it more.Lol, sorry mate.
