What have you watched on TV?

Finally got round to cracking through The Office the US one. Brilliant, I’m on season 6. Once you get past the awful episodes that mimic the UK version it’s brilliant! Some excellent characters. Creed and Kevin are absolute gold! Michael’s hatred of Toby always cracks me up.
Yep 100% my thoughts. You have to treat it totally differently to the UK office. You can feasibly believe that the UK version is a documentary whereas the US version is far too ridiculous to be a mockumentary, treat it like a sitcom and its very enjoyable. With some great characters, like you say.

It's easily the best sit-com even if does go a bit downhill after Michael leaves.

Chuck was in great form.
Yeah I saw him the year before that live at the Lanchester (Coventry) Arts festival in 1971.He was top of the bill, which included Slade.First time he'd performed in the UK since the Beatles days apparently.IIRC he might have been wearing the same rather loud shirt.

Just watched the first episode in the final Happy Valley series - brilliant. So well written and acted by all but Sarah Lancashire - just superb as always....
