What have you watched on TV?

Watched the 1st episode of Inside Man last night.

Hoping for great things as it has the Uber cool Stanley Tucci and Dolly Wells.

How wrong could I be… total garbage and an hour of my life I won’t get back.

A small town female reporter who’s terrified by a skinny teenager on a tube, miraculously goes to the US to interview a death row killer and rapist.

A pillar of the community priest protects a paedo, then blames his son and takes the blame for owning the child porn, and locks their tutor in his basement of his mansion?

WTAF? Awful

I knew Dolly Wells at university.

I have nothing against her personally but don't think she is much of an actress. She has the right background though...

Succession. What a horrible bunch of people. Not just the Roy family but everyone. Wife is from Dundee so enjoyed spotting the sights in the episode called Dundee when Logan Roy (Brian Cox who is from Dundee both in real life and the series) goes home to unveil a plaque at the V&A and look around. Great shots too of the Gleneagles Hotel.

I got really fed up with this - especially Roman and his quips.

Am watching Brian Johnson and Dolly Parton on Sky Arts , remember seeing him down The Queens in 73 when he was in Geodie .

Just finished watching Dahmer, I don't like calling it a brilliant series because of what it's about, but it was brilliant. The main actor was unreal, some of the best acting I've seen in some time.

OK, without the benefits of iplayer, the last episode of Inside Man is on tonight. I've got a nagging feeling at the back of my mind that there was something else important on at the same time? :Winking: Luckily, I can record it. For me the American side of the story holds the thing together. The English part involves a huge suspension of belief although I have to admit that it has become quite gripping in the penultimate episode. I'm not quite sure how the English side will finish, although there will probably be some way out. I'm wondering whether the finding of his wife's head will show that she had an incurable brain disease, so he acted out of compassion..............surely he can't be all bad? Interesting to see how they tie everything up (if they do!)

Trying to be too clever with Inside Man. So you hang a series on the idea that anyone can kill, given the right circumstances? Then you create a totally implausible plot on that idea. I don't know what it proves apart from, no matter how good the actors are, they can't compensate for a silly plot.........next!
